“Ticks are blood-feeding parasites…/” Need I really go on?

Alright.

“Because of the possibility of disease transmission, ticks are generally regarded as pests”.

There. They can’t even get around by themselves and yet they will cling on to anything moving with blood in it. Apart from me being hugely grossed out while doing my “research” I could’nt find anything that could possibly be of any use with this…thing.
