Today is the day when Swedes find a good excuse to get really plastered while cathing a good ol’ pneumonia (nooo judgements!). We outsiders however who dares to deviate and pay tribute to Lucia will be rewarded in soft, fluffy, yellow, sweet, saffron-tasting buns, lussekatter. And just for a change I get to be in front of the camera. My bake companion made sure to document this super Swedish tradition. This posts photographer is M. Hultgren.
