Had to look up “the first black president”…
The name is John Hanson. He was the third president of the “Continental Congress”, which really isn’t as close to what we call “president” as the word indicates. And he certainly wasn’t black - the man in the picture lived far later (late enough to be photographed), maybe he had the same name, but that’s it.
And John Hanson (the real one) probably didn’t have any Swedish heritage, contrary to what some people believe.
