Delicious Vancouver
Vancouver is Canadas third largest city located in British Columbia (B.C), the most south westly province in Canada.
The province has a nice wine district, China town in Vancouver and overall great dining opportunities. I therefore had min. two objectives: 1. Have some good chinese food and 2. drink some nice local wine.
My first evening I walked about in the trendy Yaletown and stumbled across a place with outdoor tables. I had the nicest B.C mussles with a equally good local Pinot noir. In the same area I bought some great wine from a store only selling B.C wines. My little gathering of wine to bring home is filling up nicely.
I was lucky to spend my second evening in the company of locals who took me to a great little place in Richmond. Again some truly nice local Pinot was poured into my glass accompanied by a seafood pot. I also learned a thing or two about history and culture. Did you know that Vancouver is North Americas third largest film production centre after Holly wood and New York? They film Smallville here. Stargate. And for those who remember, 21 Jump street!
My last day in Vancouver was not only sunny and warm, I also had the chance to visit Stanley Park one last time and have a lunch with a serious view.
- These looked pretty good. But I'm too cheap to pay 10$ for an apple.
- B.C mussles & Pinot at Hamilton Street Grill
- Asian supermarket, endless choices of fresh lunches.
- Calamares NOT in rings. Seafood place in Richmond.
- Picnic lunch at Prospect Point, Stanley Park.
- Lunch with a view, Prospect Point, Stanley Park.

Är det där samma iste som kan inhandlas på convenience-stores i Taiwan?

Japp, i Vancouver kryllar det av asiatiska mataffärer. Kallas inte Hongcouver för intet! :)
